Dear BEST FC Families:

I hope you are keeping safe and well! It has been great to see the innovative ways that BEST FC players have been keeping active and engaged with soccer over the past week, keep up the great work!

The New England Premiership held a conference call on Friday, please see below updates regarding Spring season dates.

1. April 29, 2020 is the target date to begin the NEP season. This would allow games to begin on May 3 if feasible based on the trajectory of the current situation.

2. Based on the updated season start date, the NEP will look to provide a spring/summer game schedule that would run through June based on the timelines provided by our local and national health organizations.

3. The NEP website has also been updated with valuable resources for families regarding Coronavirus.

BEST FC is currently planning on a rolling calendar basis, our goal is to ensure that we can get our players back on the field enjoying soccer as soon as it is safe to do so. As always please do not hesitate to call or email Paul ([email protected]) or Rob ([email protected])

You play a key role in Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus

Please do not play pick-up games, or participate in soccer activities with anyone outside of your immediate family. Doing so may put others at risk!

Practice social distancing: Stay home. If you must go out, avoid others if possible and keep a minimum distance of 6' from others at all times.

Work remotely, stay home and conduct business via phone/email. Most employers are working with employees to allow for remote work, if possible.

Limit contact with high-risk populations to remote means such as phone or video. These populations include elders over 60, those with medical conditions, pregnant women, and close family members of anyone in these groups.

Make a plan to meet your food and household needs while severely limiting time in stores. Do not stockpile so we can ensure that everyone retains access to essential items.

If you are able, continue to support local business remotely through online shopping, gift card purchase, or curbside pickup and delivery.

If you are concerned that you may be getting sick, contact your health care provider for further guidance There are many new telehealth services available that will allow you to receive care while still protecting yourself and others.
